Vega Wedges VWY and VWX

Forged wedges are hard to find and unfortunately there are only a few manufacturers that can handle this difficult task. In any case, this includes the two traditional Japanese manufacturers Miura and Vega. Vega has always delivered the highest quality wedges and has a total of 3 different grinds. These are of course ground by hand after the heads have been forged. 

This is also the big difference to commercial wedges which are mostly cast and not polished by hand. The special thing about Vega Wedges is that you can really feel this cut. Depending on the selected grind, the grounding by hand is also clearly recognizable.

If you provide three different grinds, you know that the manufacturer makes every effort to meet all requirements. Only very few manufacturers offer such an abundance of grinds. Together with the wide range of bounces it is possible to adapt the wedges to your personal requirements. This is also the secret for a good wedge play. Because only those who go on the course with the right setup will be able to develop the necessary precision around the green.

Unfortunately, many players are absolutely badly equipped in this respect. They rarely take care of grind or bounce and play what someone has recommended to them at some point in the past. With the Vega Wedges it is clear that there are no limits.
