Mizuno JPX921 Custom Set

Mizuno has also seen the signs of the times with JPX and noticed that more and more players are looking for individual sets. These players want to put their sets together in a way that makes most sense for them. And that usually means that they want more forgiveness for mistakes on longer irons but better playability on shorter irons. Some players might play a blade as a pitching wedge, but never as a 4 iron.
For the JPX921 we recommend a mixture of Forged and Tour and that's exactly how Mizuno designed the irons. They are already matched and have a similar profile. The JPX921 Tour is certainly the more sporty version, while the JPX921 Forged is much more forgiving and easier to play. However, the club head itself is not that much bigger - but the sweetspot is.
To help you make the right choice, check out the advantages of the two club heads on the respective product pages: JPX921 Tour and JPX921 Forged.
In the following you can see the club data in comparison. Please note that although the loft is 3° different, this must be put into perspective. On the one hand, the JPX921 Forged launches higher and thus takes out a large part of the strong loft. On the other hand, we can adjust the lofts at any time. The Mizuno JPX can still be bent by up to 2°. This service is free of charge for our customers for life.
